I am Tomas Officer.

I’m Tomas Officer, a filmmaker, photographer, and storyteller based in Los Angeles. I’ve been directing and producing films since my freshman year of high school, and what started as a creative hobby quickly became my greatest passion. Under my production company, Officer Films, I’ve created over 29 short films, many of which have received national recognition, including first place at UCLA's Open Mind Film Festival and the Tarzana International Film Festival, as well as an official selection at the All American High School Film Festival. My work often explores real and deeply personal issues, using film as a way to both express myself and the messages that I'm passionate about. I love every part of the filmmaking process: writing, directing, cinematography, and editing because each step offers a new way to shape a story.
Beyond filmmaking, I’m also a passionate photographer, capturing everything from pro sports events with the LA Clippers to candid portraits and nature. I co-founded my school’s Film Production Club, where I help other students tell their own stories that are shown at our annual film festival at the Laemmle Monica Film Center. Whether I’m on set, behind the camera, or planning my next project during long walks, I’m always looking for meaningful moments to bring to life. My ultimate goal is to keep creating and telling stories that make people feel something real.
